Who We Are
Navigator Mission Navigator Schools equips students to become learners and leaders in high school, college, and beyond. We develop top-tier teams of educators who continuously improve and innovate schools that deliver phenomenal outcomes for all students, regardless of their circumstances. |
Who We Serve Navigator operates two public charter schools on the Central Coast of California. Our academic model, and the dedication of Navigator staff, has led to Navigator closing the achievement gap. Figure 1 shows how our economically disadvantaged subgroup outperformed its counterparts across the state. Our English learners and students with special needs also perform significantly better than the average student in California.

Our Inspiration
Our recipe has been strongly influenced by several well-regarded authors and school operators. You will find a Teach Like A Champion 2.0 Field Guide in every Navigator Classroom and on every administrator's desk.Additionally, much of our coaching model has been adapted from RELAY GSE, which we highly recommend as a companion program. We have chosen the following texts as anchors for our several of our professional development workshops.
